Overall group film idea

The opening sequence:
The first shot to the opening sequence is a mid shot of a girl (Lucy) standing on the roof of a building shaking her head. The reason why we chose to do this as the first shot is to get the audiences minds thinking of why she is up there. The next shot is a point of view shot of Lucy looking down at the ground to show the audience how high up the character is. The next shot fades to the title scene with everyone's names on and then fades back in to a long shot of Lucy walking down the street, and the actresses name swipes across the screen. This is to represent a flash back that she is having leading up to why she is stood on the building and tell a story to the audience. The next shot is a mid shot of Lucy walking towards the public toilets and then a point of view shot of Lucy walking down the stairs towards the girls bathroom. The next shot is a long shot from the bathroom door of Lucy going into a toilet cubical. You then hear the sound of the toilet flushing as a mid shot of Lucy exiting the cubical. The next shot is a mid shot of Lucy trying to get the tap to work so that she can rinse her hands, the next shot is a close up of a drop of water falling from the tap. Then a zoom out to show a close up of frustration on Lucy's face.
