Detailed Film Idea

There is a medium close up of a light bulb, the light keeps flickering on and off. Water can be heard dripping in the background.The shot then fades to black to reveal the production company name 'Limbo films' with the logo of the company.The logo will fade out and fade into the next shot, an extreme long shot, in this shot there is a pair of legs that can be seen.This shot then pans towards the mans (Ian) face, he is still.The shot fades out to black again to reveal one of the actors names.The name will fade out and back into a close up shot of a badge of the floor, the badge is a police badge.Water can still be heard dripping in the background. A drop of blood drips next to the police badge.The shot will fade out for the final time to reveal the final actors name, it will stay on the screen for a few seconds before fading out to the next shot of Ian. It is a close up shot. In this shot Ian can be seen waking up, he opens and closes his eyes a couple of times before widening his eyes to look at his surroundings.The close up shot shows the main characters facial expression, he looks uncomfortable, confused and lost.He looks up towards the flickering light bulb as the camera pans towards it.The light stops flickering and stays turned on as the shot fades to white and fades back into the middle sequence of the film.

As the previous shot fades back into the next scene, a bright questioning room can be seen. It is quiet.Three people are sat at a desk in the middle of the room.On the table there are lots of files and a voice recorder.There is a extreme close up shot of someone pressing the record button on the voice recorder and the timer begins.The shot cuts to another extreme close up shot of a man (the criminal) with his hands locked in handcuffs behind his back.It then cuts to a medium close up of Ian asking if they should get started with the questioning process.He brings his files into the shot slightly hits them on the table and places them back onto the table, his facial expressions show that he looks in pain and he is sweating, he wipes the sweat on his forehead before making eye contact with the people sat at the otherside of the table.The shot cuts back to a medium shot of the criminal and his representative, the criminal is smiling whilst his representative looks towards him and slightly smiles before turing forward towards Ian and nods his head.Continuing on from this there is a sequence of shot-reverse shot whilst the characters are talking to each other.Ian is interegating the criminal about a crime that has being commited in the local area, three people have recently gone missing and the man they are questioning has a connection with the crime. After the short interegation is over, the representative of the criminal goes to stop the voice recorder, there is another close up of him stopping it and the timer.It then cuts back to a medium shot of the representative collecting his files before nodding his head and leaving the room.The criminal looks to see if the representative has left the room before breaking out of his handcuffs and standing up.The shot pans up towards the criminal to make him see more powerful.
